Helping, fixing, and serving represent three different ways of seeing life. When you help, you see life as weak. When you fix, you see life as broken. When you serve, you see life as whole. Fixing and helping may be the work of the ego, and service the work of the soul. ~ Rachel Naomi Remen

About me

Having spent years in the wilderness of Corporate Business, I found meaningful work in the Community and Not-For-Profit sector, through my work with vulnerable people and social change.

My work now includes providing Clinical Pastoral Education as a freelance coordinator, as well as offering professional, clinical and pastoral supervision in my private practice to those engaged in caring professions.

My varied working life has given me a broad and deep understanding of work - including the purpose, processes and challenges that meet us every day as we seek to lead a meaningful life, and to engage in work that is congruent with our ethical and social values.

I offer Supervision to all in caring roles, including spiritual/pastoral care, and incorporate your personal spirituality or life philosophy in that space when that is helpful. My personal spirituality is open to what you bring. While I have been touched profoundly by Eastern philosophy, I find my values and nurture in mother earth, mysticism, metaphysics, philosophy, sacred texts, poetry, music - all that comes from and leads to love.

I respect and value the uniqueness of your life. I seek to honour your story, to meet your unique needs, without judgement or any agenda other than to support you as you seek ways to offer your best self in service to your work and life.

My work also includes the joy of writing, and I offer a weekly (or so) reflection each week which I hope is a moment of peace for the reader. You are very welcome to subscribe - there is no cost, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
